Complete Business Management Software for Furnishing Company

A management platform for a home furnishings business, carrying a job from lead and site measurement through fabric calculation and quotation to dispatch.

Overview

The brief

Sulit DecoHub needed one system for the whole job rather than a tool per step. It had to start with the lead, capture measurements taken on site by field staff, work out the fabric each job needs, produce the quotation, and carry the same job through to invoicing and a dispatch label.

The problem

What was in the way

TODO-COPY. Describe what the process looked like before this existed and what it cost — where measurements were written down, how fabric quantities were worked out, how long a quotation took, and what went wrong between quotation and dispatch. The scope below is confirmed; this part is not, and it is what makes the case study worth reading.

What we built

The build

What we built

One platform covering the full job:

Lead management, so an enquiry becomes a tracked job rather than a message in someone’s inbox.

Measurement capture for field staff, filled in on site rather than transcribed later.

Fabric calculation, deriving the material each job needs from those measurements.

Quotation, built from the calculated requirement rather than re-entered by hand.

Invoicing and dispatch labelling, so the same job carries through to delivery.

How it is built

A MERN application — MongoDB, Express, React and Node — with Claude used in the product.

TODO-COPY: say what Claude actually does here, and where it sits in the flow. "Uses AI" is not a claim worth making; "reads a measurement sheet photographed on site and fills the form" is. Also worth explaining how measurements reach the server from the field, and where the fabric calculation runs.
