E-commerce work

Stores we have built and rebuilt, with the conversion and revenue numbers that followed.

TODO-COPY. Every store on this page is live, and every number attached to one names the tool it came from and the date it was taken. Conversion claims are easy to make and hard to verify, so we publish the source alongside the figure and let you judge it.

TODO-COPY. Most of the e-commerce work we are asked to do is a rebuild rather than a launch. The pattern is consistent: the store works, traffic is fine, and revenue is flat because something in the middle of the funnel is quietly losing people. Usually it is the checkout asking for a commitment before it has given the customer the information they need to make it — an account before a shipping cost, a delivery date after payment details.

TODO-COPY. So the first thing we do is not design. It is to read the funnel and find the step where people leave, then rebuild that step and measure whether it moved. On one project that meant collapsing four checkout pages into one and showing shipping cost up front; abandonment went from 78% to 41% and we have the analytics to show for it.

TODO-COPY. Technically these are Next.js storefronts with the catalogue in a CMS the client can run, images served through a CDN that handles format and size negotiation, and a checkout that works on a slow connection. Product pages render variants without a round trip because a spinner between picking a size and seeing the price is a place people leave.

TODO-COPY. If your store is getting traffic but not converting, the useful first conversation is about where in the funnel people are dropping, not about a redesign. Send us the outcome you need and we will come back with an approach within a day.
