Overview

The brief

Multi-Tech Polymers has manufactured engineering plastics in Ahmedabad since 2006 — PTFE, cast nylon, Delrin, POM, PEEK, UHMWPE, PP, PU and HDPE — supplied as rods, sheets, bushes and machined parts. The site presents that range to industrial buyers and routes them to a quote.

The problem

What was in the way

An engineering-plastics range is wide in two directions at once: ten materials, each stocked in several forms and dimensions. A buyer arrives knowing the material property they need and the shape they need it in, so the site has to work along both axes rather than presenting a flat product list. It also has to load quickly on the connections and devices buyers actually use on a plant floor.

What we built

The build

What we built

A catalogue organised by material and by product form, so a buyer can arrive from either direction — searching for PTFE, or searching for bushes — and reach the same stocked item.

TODO-COPY: expand this with the specifics of the build. What is above is drawn from the live site, not from the brief.

How it is built

A React front end served by nginx. Lighthouse scores 100 for SEO and best practices, and 96 for accessibility, with largest contentful paint at 1.9 seconds and cumulative layout shift at 0.008 — well inside the 0.1 threshold Google treats as good.

TODO-COPY: add the stack detail behind the front end once confirmed.
